FINO Lab Ph.D. student Patrick Gemperline has been selected as one of 44 outstanding graduate students in the nation by the Department of Energy’s Office of Science Graduate Student Research or SCGSR Program! Patrick will be working at the Center for Nanophase Materials Sciences at Oak Ridge National Lab during the spring semester with this fellowship to pursue work on machine learning for RHEED data acquired during film growth.
