We are thrilled to have won a Department of Defense Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (DEPSCoR) grant for $598k in collaboration with Prof. Wencan Jin’s group to examine interfaces between complex oxide films grown in our MBE and 2D materials. Dr. Jin will serve as PI on the project entitled “Studying Magnetoelectric Coupling in van der Waals/Oxide Thin Film Heterostructures.” The project will strengthen our ongoing work in quantum materials at Auburn and allow us to partner with the Air Force Research Lab on the research.
